I was greeted by such kindness and helpfulness from the staff
I first began to realize something was wrong with my hearing when I was constantly asking anyone speaking to me to repeat themselves. While I could hear the words, I just couldn’t understand what they were saying.
My biggest concern was that I felt too young for hearing aids and worried that others could see them. Before reaching out, I had tried everything to avoid needing hearing aids, I was particularly worried that wearing hearing aids would make me feel old.
However, when I walked into the clinic for the first time, I was greeted by such kindness and helpfulness from the staff. Dr. Mangrum was especially wonderful; she was so kind and patient, and she listened to my concerns as if she were a friend. This made me feel at ease about the idea of wearing hearing aids. Since getting them, my life has improved significantly—I hear better, and they also help me with my balance.
For anyone who is concerned about their hearing and thinking about visiting Holland Hearing, I would say you have nothing to lose by having a conversation with them.
