Patient Care Coordinator (Full-Time) 

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Hearing Aid Technician to support our audiology team in delivering high-quality patient care.

Location: Two-Provider Audiology Practice 
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Patient Care Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for our patients. This role is responsible for managing front office operations, supporting patient scheduling, and ensuring a smooth and positive patient experience.

The Patient Care Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining an efficient workflow while providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Experience & Front Office Support 

  • Greet and check in patients in a professional and welcoming manner 

  • Manage patient check-out and ensure all necessary follow-up is completed 

  • Answer incoming calls and assist with scheduling appointments 

  • Provide clear communication to patients regarding appointments and services 

Scheduling & Administrative Support

  • Schedule and coordinate patient appointments efficiently 

  • Maintain accurate patient information, including demographics and insurance details 

  • Perform data entry and update electronic medical records 

  • Prepare and manage patient correspondence, including mailings, reminders, and follow-ups 

Office Operations

  • Process incoming and outgoing mail 

  • Maintain organized and up-to-date patient files 

  • Assist with daily office upkeep to ensure a clean and professional environment 

  • Support end-of-day procedures, including closing tasks and deposit preparation 

Team & Practice Support

  • Attend staff meetings and contribute to team communication 

  • Assist with general office tasks and workflow as needed 

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Owner or Practice Manager

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required 

  • 2+ years of experience in a medical or administrative office preferred 

  • Experience with insurance verification or billing is a plus 

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills 

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills 

  • Basic computer proficiency required
