Hearing Aid Technician (Full-Time)

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Hearing Aid Technician to support our audiology team in delivering high-quality patient care.

  • Location: Two-Provider Audiology Practice

  • Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

  • Compensation: $18–$22/hour, based on experience

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Hearing Aid Technician to support our audiology team in delivering high-quality patient care. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment, enjoys working both behind the scenes and directly with patients, and takes pride in organization and accuracy.

This position plays an important role in ensuring patients receive timely, well-prepared care by supporting device management, appointment readiness, and overall clinic efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Patient & Appointment Preparation 

  • Prepare hearing aid fittings and required documentation, and assist with audiologist appointments (fittings, consults, earmold impressions, etc.) 

  • Ensure all equipment, supplies, and software are ready prior to patient visits 

Hearing Aid & Equipment Management 

  • Process incoming hearing aids, earmolds, and supplies 

  • Prepare and ship outgoing repairs to manufacturers 

  • Receive and process repaired devices and match them to patient records 

  • Organize and stage devices and materials for upcoming appointment 

Schedule & Workflow Coordination 

  • Review upcoming schedules to ensure appointments are properly prepared 

  • Confirm all necessary products and devices are available for scheduled visits 

  • Coordinate technician-related tasks to support efficient daily workflow 

Clinic Organization & Support

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of audiology equipment and workspaces 

  • Support daily clinic setup and closing procedures 

  • Assist with general clinic upkeep to ensure a professional and welcoming environment 

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 

  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities 

  • Comfortable working in a patient-facing healthcare environment 

  • Basic computer proficiency required 

  • Previous healthcare or administrative experience preferred, but not required  are ready prior to patient visits
