My colleagues and I have dedicated our lives to helping people who are struggling with their hearing. Our hearing care professionals have more than 50 years of combined experience. Personalized Care is Our Specialty
My colleague Dr. Sue Ann Holland likes to point out if we have several patients with the same hearing test result, each one may need a different hearing prescription. The reason is everyone’s hearing is an intricate combination of sound detected by the ears and the brain’s processing of signals it receives. When we evaluate someone’s hearing, we figure out what part of the hearing process isn’t functioning as it should. Then we develop a custom plan of care that fits that patient’s diagnosis, lifestyle, and budget.
You’ll Have Access to the Latest Advances in Hearing Care
Our hearing center has made it a priority to keep up with the latest advances in hearing care. For instance, our patients have the option of scheduling a remote appointment with one of our audiologists. This service, known as tele audiology, allows patients to have a face-to-face meeting with our hearing care professionals via a tablet, computer, or smartphone. During the virtual visit, our audiologist also can adjust hearing aids remotely for patients who have today’s advanced hearing devices.
Holland Hearing Center Gives Back to the Community
We’ve partnered with United Way of Abilene to create The Give Hear Program. Through this collaborative effort, Holland Hearing Center serves our Abilene neighbors who cannot afford to treat their hearing loss. We fit these individuals in need with donated hearing aids that have been completely refurbished.
